Belligerent Poetry

you mean

and what do you mean to me,
this part of me wants to make you smile
that part that laughs and holds you close
this part wants to forget it all
the part that falls asleep so quickly
and this part, down deep and selfish
wants to be free,
and so destroys my mind and yours
sorry though parts of me may be.
