Crumpled Piece of Paper Set
This set of funky, rolling techno (more affectionately referred to as "giddy up") was recorded by myself in early december 2002. It is a live set, with almost all the loops being produced, manipulated and performed by myself. A handful of loops were donated by the enigmatic Iresto and some were sampled from a cal tjader record.
I constructed the original loops with a Novation Bass Station, Drum Station, Korg Electribe, Roland 505 and a Nord Lead. They were then manipulated and performed using Ableton's LIVE software, and a Korg Kaoss pad (which you can hear throughout the set, reversing and manipulating loops).
