Belligerent Poetry

in the middle of a fifth lesson no-show

clear and precise
it all seemed last night
when everything was crowded and low
crashed my bike
but i'm alright
some scars & stories for show
underneath
all of that
a peaceful flat
and a place to call home
when i go.
it's a brilliant thing,
this mid-day no-show.
